About Us

First Team Sports has been in operation since January of 1994. We have over 23 employees, which include: inside sales, outside sales, retail sales, and sewing and lettering. First Team Sports services the upstate of South Carolina and western North Carolina, but we continue to expand into the central and lower part of the state of South Carolina. Due to the growth of our business over the last 12 years we have been fortunate enough to build a new 15,000 square foot location at 2520 Wade Hampton Blvd.
We feel we can and have offered this community the best service in the sporting goods field because of our salesman’s combined experience of well over 100 years. In addition to offering all sporting needs such as uniforms, equipment, an in-house batting cage and our in-house sewing and lettering department allows us to accommodate not only the local high schools, but also surrounding Colleges and Universities.
First Team Sports believes that there is 3 key factors to our success in the upstate:
First, our service level, to say we go above and beyond for our customers is truly an understatement. We have been known to drive several hours on a Sunday evening to deliver orders to a customer to ensure that they were prepared for a Monday game or tournament.
Second, because of our experience level, we have been providing products and support for team sports since 1994. Our employees have over 100 years combined in this industry alone!
Third, because of the products we carry. As you can see, we carry only the best equipment and apparel available. Names like Adidas, Russell, Nike and more. Products you won't find just anywhere, with quality and authenticity that can't be topped!
